Growing as Disciples

We believe that Jesus has called us to live lives of love. He shows us this through his life and teachings, and his invitation for us to follow him. We put a priority on building and sustaining meaningful relationships grounded in honesty and mutual support as we grow to be more like Jesus.

The beliefs of Belfast Church are most fully summarized in the Living Faith, which is our denominational statement of belief and is more modern in language.
Additionally, we subscribe to The Westminster Confession of Faith along with the Larger and Shorter Catechisms. These historic statements of the faith were written in the 17th century and have stood as the doctrinal standards of Bible-believing Presbyterians for almost 400 years.
Our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in Canada, holds to these as our core statements of theology.
